Work optimization system

Work optimization system is a naturally occuring phenomenon, which decreases the sum of work between entities while maintaining or improving performance. It exists as long as it is competitive to other surrounding systems or can prevent entities from leaving. It can evolve by small improvements made by members of the system. It can branch non-competitively to experimental systems to maintain safety of the main system.

Nature[edit | edit source]

Primates[edit | edit source]

  • Within a social group (a work optimization system) there is a balance between cooperation and competition. Cooperation is the primary function and it decreases the sum of work or stress. Cooperative behaviors include social grooming (removing skin parasites and cleaning wounds), food sharing, and collective defense against predators or of a territory. Competition happens, when individuals try to steal the spare energy for their own use. Aggressive behaviors often signal competition for food, sleeping sites or mates. Aggression is also used in establishing dominance hierarchies.

Humans[edit | edit source]

  • States are usually a different mix of cooperation and competition than they identify themselves.
    • "Left" states may use money to military and avoid peaceful cooperation is harmful competition / stealing.
    • "Right" states may distribute cheap technology to benefit humankind as a whole

Cooperation[edit | edit source]

  • Cooperation is about maintaining the system (including working) or making small improvements to the system or possibly creating a new improved non-competitive experimental system.

Competition[edit | edit source]

  • Competition happens, when individuals try to steal the spare energy for their own use.
    • Creates aggressive behaviour
  • Trying to justificate prevention of stealing is known as Left-wing politics
    • includes also the policy to use spare energy for improvement of the systems with: small steps or experimental system
  • Trying to justificate stealing is known as Right-wing politics
    • Someone in position to prevent single increases of the work in system (details) claims the need for authority to do so in exchange for little more energy for himself
      • focusing publicly to errors of individuals --> stealing
      • this accumulation of small patches is worse than improving the design of the system or creating a experimental branch, but it's a tempting trick
      • this also includes the claim of genetic or religious superiority
    • includes the policy to destroy old system (or part of it) and create a new (mostly duplicate) system as replacement to finalize the stealing as a feature
